Bryan Carpenter
BMR-PTBryan graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2009 with his Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy. He holds a previous Bachelor degree in Kinesiology that was completed at the University of Winnipeg.
Since graduating, Bryan has further continued his education with ongoing professional development curriculum. He has completed his level 3 manual therapy courses through the Canadian orthopedic division. He has taken numerous specific courses in other forms of manual and myofascial treatment including mobilizations with movement and treatment of upper and lower quadrant dysfunctions. He is also a licensed provider of both Acupuncture and Dry Needling Therapy.
Bryan is a strong believer in an active approach to physiotherapy and patient education. Combining the two in a thorough treatment plan often leads to empowering people to improve and take charge of their conditions. Since graduation, Bryan has been involved in the clinical education program for the department of Physical Therapy through the University of Manitoba.

Kyle Smith
MPTKyle graduated from the University of Manitoba with his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2018. He grew up in the Oakbank community. Prior to his physiotherapy degree, Kyle completed his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Manitoba, which allowed him to work as a fitness professional at the Reh-fit Centre in Winnipeg for 3 years. Kyle has been involved with sports his entire life and with his experience in fitness, he was inspired to pursue a career in physiotherapy to assist people with their rehabilitation and fitness goals for healthier living.
Kyle believes that in order for proper rehabilitation to occur, a detailed assessment along with patient participation is vital for the best results. He uses a variety of methods including client education, manual therapy and rehabilitative exercises to help clients with their injuries.
Kyle is involved in working in pediatrics currently through the Rehabilitation Center for Children where he works with children with disabilities from the ages of 0-21. This position takes him all over the province where he works through schools or directly in the community. Kyle is dedicated to seeking experience in all aspects of physiotherapy to help develop his knowledge and skills to help many populations. He understands the importance of collaboration with other therapists and medical staff to achieve the best care for the clients. Kyle has already completed his level 1 orthopedic certificate. He is committed to life long learning as a Physiotherapist and continues to grow as a professional through further professional development courses.

Marcus Lizardo
Bsc PTMeet Marcus, a physiotherapist with a dedication to helping individuals achieve their optimal function. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2018, known for its physical therapy education in the Phillippines. Immediately after finishing the program, Marcus successfully wrote the Philippine National Exam for Physical Therapists. Initially drawn to the palliative field, he provided invaluable support to patients for several months before deciding to pursue opportunities in Canada.
In 2020, Marcus returned to Canada and ventured into the field of personal training for two years, a phase that significantly influenced his approach to rehabilitation. This experience endowed him with a diverse skill set and profound knowledge, enhancing his abilitity to tailor personalized rehabilitation programs. The year 2022 marked another milestone for Marcus as he successfully cleared the Written Component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam in Canada.
Marcus thrives on the diversity of his clientel, catering to athletes and individuals from all walks of life. He firmly belives in enpowering patients with the knowledge and tools to take charge of their health, fostering lasting improvements. Marcus is not just a physiotherapist but also a trusted partner on your wellness journey. He values building genuine connections with his clients, attentively listening to their concerns, and providing a friendly supportive atmosphere throughout the healing process.
Beyond his dedication to the field of physiotherapy, Marcus loves exploring the outdoors, staying active in various sports, and continuously expanding his knowledge to stay at the forefront of his practice. On a regular day, you can find Marcus working out in the gym or walking his dog, Hope.
