Your Physiotherapist will start by taking a thorough history followed by a physical assessment that may include assessment of range of motion, strength, and general movement. Your Physiotherapist may ask you to change into shorts or a gown depending on the body part that will need to be assessed. If there are any concerns with this, patients should not hesitate to discuss this with their Physiotherapist so alternatives can be arranged. Patients are encouraged to bring their own shorts, loose fitting T-shirts, or tank tops if needed. Following the assessment, a treatment plan will be established and further discussed by the Physiotherapist.
